Sakarya Electricity Distribution Inc. (SEDAŞ) has 5 Regional Directorates in Sakarya, Kocaeli, Bolu, Düzce, and Gebze provinces and a total of 21 operation centers affiliated to these Regional Directorates in its 20 thousand km² field of activity; It provides energy distribution services to 3.8 million population and more than 2 million customers.

With the slogan of “We add our energy to every moment of life”; Within the scope of the investment program for electricity distribution services, to build new distribution facilities and increase capacity, construct additional facilities in the existing network, carry out operation maintenance and repair works, to evaluate connection applications, to serve by making connection agreements with electricity consumers, to read indexes from consumption meters, to continue lighting works, to carry out meter replacement and calibration operations in electricity distribution, to combat technical and non-technical losses, to reduce the number and duration of electricity failures, and to ensure the continuity of electricity supply.

As a GIS unit, we provide data to many comprehensive applications within the company. Before GIS, tracking and analyzing network inventory was quite a painstaking process. There were difficulties in accessing up-to-date data. Due to the size of our network and the large area of the geography we supply energy, we needed a program that monitors and analyzes processes. We have been using the PowernetMaestro software developed by Başarsoft since 2012. As Geographic Information Systems; We provide integration with other software required by our company and we can access many data quickly and easily. In our future investment plans, we take action quickly.
