How did BELBİM achieve success by using Başarsoft’s Geomarketing product?
BELBİM Elektronik Para ve Ödeme Hizmetleri A.Ş. is the founder of the “Electronic Cost Collection System”, which has been operating in Istanbul public transportation since 1987 with a focus on R&D. Within the scope of this system, “Istanbulkart” as electronic money media, this product was developed by BELBİM A.Ş. in 2007 and designed as a model city card that can accommodate 28 different applications and is suitable for developing various business models with different electronic money applications. Safe, easy, fast and comfortable payment is provided through the prepaid electronic money card “Istanbulkart” at every point integrated into the electronic cost collection system.
With rapidly developing technological innovations, in 2020, we started to look for a geographical decision support system that can guide us in the right direction in order to effectively manage the thousands of expenditure and filling points we provide services, to make strategic assessments and to create our decision support points.
We needed to be able to evaluate and analyze the important points (POIs) for our company, which are located in the field and close to the locations, and analyze them with demographic data. We met Başarsoft and its product, Geomarketing, during our search to move our operation, which we continue with classical maps and field visits, to geographic analysis and increase efficiency.
We have been using Başarsoft’s Geomarketing product since 2020. With geomarketing, we create decision support points with map-based analyzes for both existing and newly planned expenditure and filling points, and we can take our strategic decisions effectively.
The service we received enabled us to achieve effective and efficient results while evaluating our points in the field through implementation.
