Turkish National Police Department has started to work with MapXtreme Java Based product for The Governorship Office of Istanbul. Intelligence Bureau Information Management R&D Team have made a decision to use Java based solutions and now Mapj, which is one of a MapInfo software, is used for the projects. Java-based map technology is being used in 1000 units of tablet PCs.
